My name is Brittni (aka Brisa). With a deep passion, care and concern for the wellbeing of our Planet and humanity, I have dedicated the last decade of my life to being of service to children, the Earth, and animals.

As a passionate Artist, Holistic Educator, and Art/Eco Therapy advocate, I have been involved in many pursuits and projects over the years that strive towards connecting children to Nature, the Arts, and themselves. This is my mission.

I have been living in Central America for over 4 years, mostly in isolated jungle regions. I brought with me the mission mentioned above, that has taken me on some very interesting but fulfilling paths. I have been a part of several movements whilst being abroad, including:

  • Helping to get clean drinking water systems installed for the local school in the most remote region of Costa Rica (see Live Globally)

  • Mentoring at the Holistic Education Collective “Life Project Education” (see LPE)

  • Offering Children’s Art and Eco Education/Therapy services (see Joyful Learning)

  • Co-Founding and Operating a Sea Turtle and Environmental Conservation project in “one the most biologically intense places on Earth” (see Rascarey Turtle Project)

  • Founding “Uniendo Mundos Aquí (UMA)” — a collective that strives to “bridge worlds here” — promoting intercultural harmony between local Maya and international demographics, to encourage deep understanding within communities around Lake Atitlan. Done by creating inclusive, safe and beautiful learning spaces/events for diverse groups of children to play and learn together.

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a specialization in childhood development, Early Childhood Education certified, and have 10+ years of experience in various educational and therapeutic environments.
